Time: Refreshments from 7.30am for an 8am start
Location: Ambition Lawrence Weston Offices, Long Cross, Bristol BS11 0RX
Overview
Lawrence Weston, like many other post war local authority housing estates, has fallen on less prosperous times as social change accelerated. Isolated from the prosperity of central Bristol, this community of 7,100 people with poor health outcomes is attempting to bring about change for itself by working with local GP’s, Bristol City Council and the CCG.
The community wants to see a step change in the health and wellbeing of its families, friends and neighbours.
